A Little Con Magic

Conventions can be magical~ ...literally!

Koda here learned that firsthand! –er, first-paw? You see, the story was: he had been fursuiting all day, and once the sun had set, he told a friend he felt a bit… off in the suit. Wearing all that fur and fluff can get quite warm — though, why would it be warmer at night? Well, taking off his hand paws, he soon found out why: they were becoming paws for real! — and it didn’t stop there! His whole body felt hot and itchy! He let out a surprised yelp before (gently) tossing down his fursuit head and other paw to realize he was turning into the very species he was suiting as: a coyote!

He yipped and yapped at other congoers in the area as his body continued to morph and shift; loose parts of his suit falling off his smaller canine frame as his ears stretched in time with his pointed muzzle. As his new forepaws touched the cool sidewalk, his faux tail fell away as his new ‘yote tail swished out behind him. After a short struggle, the coyote managed to free himself from the confines of his old fursuit — only to notice a small crowd forming around him, taking photos and murmuring to one another. Without waiting to stick around to hear what they were talking about, the little coyote bolted away from the hotel.

They say, on the last night of a furry convention, you can still hear a coyote happily yipping and yapping alongside the congoers! Maybe he’s just calling out for others to join him? :3c

The Lion Curse

It was a lucky find in an antique shop. A large, age-worn book filled with page after page of what could only be described as spells. Gabriel didn’t waste any time making his purchase. The old tome would be a great piece to show friends and guests; he didn’t for a minute believe it was real.
